Cantonese Traffic presents: McLovin' Fest

McLovin' Fest 2008 is a concert being held at the Rochester Opera House, 31 Wakefield St., Rochester NH, 03867, on September 27th, 6:00pm. Tickets are $5.00. Tickets can be purchased at the door. They will also be available online soon.

This show will bring in the likes of Cantonese Traffic, Headtrain, and the Knights of Jamelot.

Cantonese Traffic is a power trio from Rochester, NH whose mission is to take music to a higher ground. The members, Mike Allard (Guitar and Vocals), Zac Arnault (Bass and Vocals), and Ian Martin (Drums), create a very unique fusion of blues, jazz, funk, psychedelic, reggae, and rock. Some of their influences include Miles Davis, The Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Ten Years After, Humble Pie, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Bob Marley, James Brown, and many, many more.


Head Train's sound ranges from crushing rock mountains of guitar to spacious psychedelic sea soundscapes built on an underbelly of funk and grungy edges. Their passion for music is evident especially in the energy of their live shows, and inspires the same excitement in their fans.

The Knights of Jamelot combine the styles of rock, funk, and jam band to create a sound that is uniquely theirs. Some of their influences incluce Phish, The Allman Brothers Band, The Grateful Dead, Entrain, and Santana.
